Carrigaholt "Folk and Bluegrass" festival 2019. "Whistle" band from Dublin live in Keane's!
This Dublin band called "Whistle" are just one of the bands that featured in the Carrigaholt Folk and Bluegrass Weekend which takes place every year in July. A real treat for Bluegrass Music Lovers!
Loophead Community Walks
The Loophead Community Walks take place every Sunday at 12.00 noon. These walks take in the most scenic and picturesque routes on the Loophead Peninsula and all the while people are chatting and getting to know each other. It's an ideal way for families to spend quality time together and people who are new in the area to become part of the community. People can slot in and out of the walks anytime, the only rules are that children must be accompanied by an Adult and dogs must be on a leash. Taking care of our Mental Health by simply walking and talking. Walks are advertised on the social media, local newspapers and by joining the Community Walks WhatsApp group.
